Give The Gift Of Education

At Kellett, we place great importance on role modelling empathy and compassion to our students. Each weekend our staff, with help from volunteer students, bring joy to children living below the poverty line at Kellett Outreach. Watch the video to find out how.

Each tree represents a place for a student at Outreach. So far 56 out of 100 places have been funded this year.

“Kellett Outreach helps my family by providing free knowledge and resources for my child, eliminating the need for us to pay for it. This is especially beneficial for families like ours who are financially constrained and have no means of livelihood.”

Kellett Outreach provides a free day of lessons and activities to children living below the poverty line on Saturdays in term time. Run by Kellett teachers, supported by volunteer students and other partners of the school, the mornings focus on academics, and the afternoons are packed with fun activities. The range on offer is deliberately wide-ranging, from yoga to cricket and drama, to help the children develop a ‘love of learning’, our mantra at Kellett. The 100 or so children who attend Outreach are bussed to our Kowloon Bay campus, given breakfast and lunch, and educational resources to help their learning.
