Life-changing Entrance Bursaries are aimed at children living below the poverty line, who would thrive at Kellett School, academically, socially and emotionally.
Entrance Bursaries can be up to 100% of tuition fees and can also include school trips, school equipment, devices, transport, uniform and ECAs, to ensure the student can fully participate in life at the school.
Prospective entrance bursary recipients are identified through Outreach or referred by NGOs and need to pass the School’s entrance criteria.
There are currently nine Entrance Bursary students at Kellett, all of whom are thriving, and we remain committed to providing two places each year.
Entrance Bursaries are enriching for the whole Kellett School community, both in the act of giving, and also in the different perspectives that it exposes students to.

"I donate to the AMD Fund because as Dr Seuss says, “the more that you learn, the more places you’ll go” and every kid has a right to access these infinite possibilities."

A member of the Kellett Foundation Board, Former Chair of Kellett School Board of Governors explains why he believes bursaries are so important.
We provide two bursary places each year. To do this, we are trying to raise HK$26m by Kellett School’s 50th anniversary in 2026. Beyond that, we hope to build an endowment fund to make bursaries to Kellett School sustainable.
